Configure Channel Manager Connection

Select the Channel Manager you are using. RezEasy currently supports 9 channel managers. These are:

Your Channel Manager Account Details

URL for Rooms/Rates List: This is the URL that the channel manager uses to show you a list of room and rate codes that are already set up in the channel manager.

URL for Inventory/Rates Update: The URL that the channel manager uses to receive inventory and rate updates.

URL to Get Reservations: The URL that the channel manager uses to deliver reservations to RezEasy.

URL to Confirm Reservations: The URL that the channel manager uses to receive reservation confirmations from RezEasy.

User Name: The user name given to you by the channel manager.

Password: The password given to you by the channel manager.

Requestor ID or API Key: This is an ID/Key that the channel manager will give you in order access its funtions.

Hotel ID: The ID of your hotel in the channel manager.

Always recalculate rate...: When this box is checked RezEasy will recalculate the room rate received from the channel manager for all new or modified reservations. The rate used will be the one you select in Room Type Map for the room code that is booked.

Always send minimum stay...: When this box is checked RezEasy will include the default minimum stay that you set for each room type in the Room Type Map when availability updates are sent to the channel manager.

Add Tax to rates...: When this box is checked RezEasy will add Tax 1 to room rates sent to the channel manager. Only applicable, of course if you have configured taxes in the General Configuration.

Add Percentage Surcharge...: When this box is checked RezEasy will add the percentage surcharge to room rates sent to the channel manager. Only applicable, of course if you have configured the surcharge in the General Configuration.

  2. Most channel manager use the same URL all data exchanges. Some like Reseliva use different URL's. Check the channel manager documentation for details.
  3. Some options will be enabled/disabled according to the channel manager you select. For example Octorate requires an API key but does not require a user name or password.
  4. If you can change the channel manager that you are using be sure to complete this configuration, Select Channels and complete the Room Type Map again because these items are different for Octorate and SiteMinder.
