Room Type Map

The page contains a grid showing the room type mapping that you have created for the channel manager you are using.

To add a new map click the Add Room Type Map tab.
To change or delete a record select it in the grid and click the appropriate icon at the bottom of the grid.

RezEasy Codes

You can add up to three combinations of rate code for each room code that you map. However, not all channel managers will support adding three rates per room. You should check the documentation for the channel manager to determine what is possible.

RezEasy Room Code: Select from the list of Room Types that you entered into RezEasy.

RezEasy Rate Code 1 to 3: Select from the list of Room Rate Codes that you entered into RezEasy. If you Rates Push to the channel manager the rate code you select here will be used.

Channel Manager Codes

Channel Room Code: The room code in the or the inventory code in the channel manager that is equivalent to the RezEasy Room Code.

Channel Rate Code 1 to 3: The code in the channel manager that is equivalent to the RezEasy Rate Code. (This item is not required for Octorate)

Allocation: The maximum allocation for the room type in each channel.
When RezEasy determines availability per day it uses the formula Available = Allocation - Already Booked Example: if you have 20 of this Room Type, Allocation is set to 15, and 10 are booked there will be 5 available to the channels and 10 available in Front Desk.

Default Min Stay: The default minimum number of nights that can be booked for the Room Type. It is possible override this value for specific dates when you send Minimum Stays to the channel manager.

Max Occupany: The maximum number of persons that allowed in the Room Type.

Notes:
RezEasy has more options for rates than are offered by individual channels. Therefore, the rates available for selection in RezEasy Rate Code will be restricted to that a channel manager can accept. For example channel managers using the OTA XML format can accept Seasonal and Flexi-Rate per room. Resiliva can Seasonal per room or per person.
When Pushing Rates to channels you have the option to select which channels should receive the data. Therefore, you can set rates in an individual channel, at Octorate or SiteMinder then exclude that channel from RezEasy's rate push.
